What makes this Drakensberg accommodation option so special is that we are offering cozy & comfortable Eco experience in a luxury cave. Glass doors open onto a wooden deck with hammock chairs and sweeping views of the Drakensberg Mountains.
We also offer accommodation in thatched cottages. This Drakensberg accommodation will be an unforgettable stay. The lodge features authentic and inspiring woodwork throughout, hand-crafted on the property by ourselves.
The furniture and finishings are artistic, big, and bold. We have created huge mosaics, stained glass windows and even wooden hinges. All of this in a sustainable environment.
Glass doors open on to a deck with an uninterrupted panoramic view of more than 180 degrees from Giants Castle right through to the Amphitheater and including the rolling foothills of the Bushman’s River Valley. Not surprisingly bushman paintings are on the walls, as well as a rocked in Jacuzzi bath, king size bed and open fire place which make for an upmarket Eco-experience. Hammock chairs on the deck are a perfect location for a sun downer while you watch the sun set. The furnishings are hand made and much has taken influence from the acacia trees in the view with windows that follow the shapes of the trees.
