Route description

An extreme 4 days (48 kms) circular hike in Mnweni, traditionally described from Isandlwana Police Post. Arrange current starting access and parking locally. The first day reaches the base of Rockeries Pass; the second climbs to the escarpment and Mponjwane or Ledges Cave. The third descends Mnweni Pass, and the fourth returns to the start.
