Simone and Russell Suchet started Sani Lodge in 1992. Drakensberg Adventures followed in 1998 as a tour company attached to the lodge. Russell is the author of “A Backpacker’s Guide to Lesotho”. The company offers day tours and longer trips in the Drakensberg and Lesotho, with an emphasis on local knowledge, community tourism and responsible travel.
