Drakensberg Treks
First met the team with my first visit to Drakensberg attempting to summit Champagne Castle. I also trekked Mafadi's insane trail with them. You are guaranteed a safe and exciting hike with the team. They make you feel at home and allow you to take your pace while also watching that you are going well and strong. The hardest trail was Mafadi but they were there all the way, watching my every move ensuring safety at all times. I keep returning back to them because of their excellent service and passion for those mountains. Keep up the great work guys and see you soon.

Amazing Guides + Hikes
Had the pleasure of summitting Sterkhorn twice in three weeks...the guides Lungelo and Zweli were amazing. Timing was perfect, they made the trip very informative and worthwhile. Will be back for sure. Happy Hiking #straighttalkwithnolan #trek4mandela

The Horn...attempt 1
We attempted the Sterkhorn at the monks cowl area on the 26/05/19. We had the pleasure of hiring a wonderful guide by the name of Mzweli. We got to see the koppies of the turret and amphlett tours? and we'll see the cross next time for sure....but Mzwelis help and knowledge was critical to even getting to the high berg....2 berg adders where suggesting we make a u turn....but onwards safely up and down. Thank your very much for keeping us safe and on the edge at the same time✌

Excellent!
I have summited twice under their guidance. The guides are friendly, polite and really know the mountains. Appreciated the lessons about the different plants in the mountains and their uses. I’m planning another hike soon to the source of Tugela Falls and will definitely be using Umphafa Berg Tours.

Summit of Sterkhorn from Monk Cowls Park
Thank you to an amazing guide Lungelo for making my training hike to attempt summiting Kilimanjaro an amazing and memorable experience. Your passion, knowledge, understanding of how to push and manage the human body and my fear of heights was amazing.....I will definitely see you again. Anyone wanting to take on this hike in the Drakensberg, Lungelo is your man.
