Route description

Corner Pass follows a steep, narrow rock gully in the Injisuthi area, with boulder and chockstone obstacles requiring scrambling. Assess the climbing moves and conditions for the whole group, particularly with heavy packs or wet or icy rock. The gully description alone is insufficient for planning the approach.

Explore the Injisuthi area: The Injisuthi area offers day walks and longer journeys through steep valleys and high mountain country. Injisuthi camp is the usual starting point for many local walks. Read our Injisuthi Nature Reserve guide for more about the area and planning a visit.

⚠️ Mountain safety notice
