Pitsaneng Pass (North) combines a summit gully, an exposed traverse and a ridge when described from the top down. An earlier winter descent account records a retreat from the traverse; snow and ice can substantially change the available line. Pitsaneng Pass (South) is a separate route. This is terrain for experienced groups with strong navigation and confidence on exposed slopes.
