Ntabamhlophe, also known as White Mountain, is a distinctive flat-topped landmark in the Central Drakensberg foothills near Estcourt. It stands in the wider Giant’s Castle landscape, away from the high escarpment.

The mountain is visible from the surrounding countryside, including the Antbear area. Seeing it from a road or a lodge does not establish public access to its slopes; arrange land access before attempting a summit walk.

Explore the Giants Castle area: The Giant’s Castle area combines the Bushman’s River valley with open grassland and the high escarpment. The reserve is known for its hiking, birdlife and San rock-art heritage. Read our Giant's Castle Nature Reserve guide for more about the area and planning a visit.
