Northern Traverse with Geoff (Into The Berg)
I recently did the Northern Travers with Into The Berg. I was very excited and curious about this trail and it exceded all my expectations. From the very start, Geoff showed his passion for the mountains, the flora and fauna, which was truly contagious. His deep knowledge and skills are obvious. What also sets him apart is how he adapts the hike to the level and needs of the group. He is incredibly considerate and always attentive, creating a relaxed and confident environment on the trail.He led us to some of the most beautiful places in the Drakensberg, sharing stories and insights that showed just how experienced and connected he is to the area and its people. It’s clear that he doesn’t just guide hikes here, he genuinely loves the Drakensberg and his work.
My experience in the Drakensberg was pretty unique and unforgettable. Which makes me deeply grateful for an organisation like Into The Berg.
