A hike of 7 to 8 hours over 16 km's and 1 447m uphill. The hike begins at Lotheni Camp, follows the Ngodwini River and ascends up to the contour path. The Hlathimbe Pass itself is very steep, doing the hike to the top over 2 days is a good option.

Wave Cave is in the Garden Castle area, it gets its name from the wave shape of the overhang. The cave is near Curtain Cave. The cave has some level floor areas and does not offer good shelter from the elements.

Cyprus cave annex is a few metres from Cyprus cave which was formed when the underlying soil was washed away by the stream that flows over the top into a pool in front of the cave. The cave is named after the cyprus grass which grows in the area.
